Judge DeSalvo

I would also rule the case in Anna's favor. As an individual she has the right to her own body and no one can take that from her. It's like following the constitution but for a minor and who is to say that she doesn't deserve the same rights? It is justice, Anna shouldn't be used for something that is totally her decision to make whether her mother does have legal rights to her. I understand Sara wants what's best for Kate but at the same time I believe this case has come for her revelation in what she has been doing to Anna. Campbell has made great points for this case and supporting Anna.

Designer Baby

The new controversial issue has aroused since the adaption of new science and technology. Embryos. The idea is that people can have the choice to implant sexual reproduction cells into a woman's uterus. But the problem that was faced is that parents had children that suffered a disorder and decided to have a "test-tube" baby that genetically matched their child with the disorder that could possibly save their first child. I believe that this decision isn't ethically wrong because I believe they have the right intentions. That the parents decision isn't for selfish way s but for common good and love. This choice saves lives and why is that wrong?

Interview with the Non-Believer

Person says that they don't believe the Holocaust happened to them:
I say, how is that even possible that you could be so naive to events of our history. It's not that, it's that there aren't any logical reasoning to their beliefs on that the holocaust didn't happen. They're sporadic reasons. They change every time and it makes them sound ignorant. It isn't the fact that you believe it, it's the fact that aren't considering the lives that it impacts. Families that have survived suffered deeply and you saying this an insult to them.

The Holocaust

Millions of Jewish people were killed. Suffered harsh beatings, tortures. The fact that it wasn't even about their race but their religion and the way they looked. It makes you wonder why they weren't better than a social or political class such as the Nazi's. What did they do to deserve that? Out of millions of soldiers apart of the plan only few were known to have hearts. Is a human brainwashed that badly that they cannot hear the cries and screams of man? There were even children who were apart of this horrid event. Could they not put their selves into the shoes of those people? How can one man in power influence only a small amount of soldiers, compared to the millions killed, to do something so malicious?

Something New

My Dad really isn't my Dad. He took upon that role in place of my actual Father. I didn't really realize this until about 8 or 9 years old when going to Georgia. What's so great because I see that he didn't really have to do this but he decided to do so and take upon a role someone else wasn't fit for at the time.

Living Life

The instructions to living a life is to have fun. Have fun in what your doing. You never want to go into something you feel like is a miserable thing and just want to stay lazy on the couch all day. Ever heard of the saying "If you love what you're doing, you'll never work a day in you're life" ? That's exactly the type of enjoyment I'm talking about when it comes to living your life, the way you want to.

My Amendment

If I could make my own amendment, I would make it about world budget. By this , I mean the control of the amount of money of newly products such as: laptops, phones, etc. The wait limit would be two years until a new model of technology is made. I believe if I make this amendment that America would quickly become less dependent and lazy for technology and only improve in social and intellectual levels.

Santa

I wished I still believed Santa. Not only just the whole concept of Santa, but the fact that it made me the child that I was. Not believing in Santa is lie a sort of symbol that just screams "You're growing up". I feel lie believing in Santa again would put me in my other reality such as Timmy Turner and the fight to stay young forever. It seems that when parents finally discuss that Santa isn't real that it just sends your hopes down the drain and kills your inner spirit, but such things as the Tooth Fairy still remain but we can't come close to gripping the truth. Santa isn't just a conspiracy, he's a world-wide symbol of the spirit inside us that diminishes because we seek to destroy and find truth. Believing in Santa again would just mean that I would forever keep the child in myself and keep up the joy and spirit of Christmas and what it stands for. PEACE! Instead of destroying the hopes of the young futures.

Inside vs Outside

There are many of my peers who seem to diminish their inner qualities due to insecurities. Most of the time they are masked by physical attributes. In some cases they aren't. I find it weird that people with admirable physical attributes seem to be the most insecure ones. Sometimes the ones that seem invisible to others are the strongest willed and stronger inner qualities. I don't believe physical features relates on the personality. I do believe, however, that people use what gives them social boosts to create themselves among other people, but behind closed doors they are completely different people. Some people abuse that power. In some cases if people's personality were reflected, the people we find gorgeous might still be gorgeous, gorgeous might turn ugly, ugly might still be ugly, and ugly might turn beautiful.

Article

I am a spender. I can't keep money in my pocket. I slightly believe that we do become impulsive when we are encountered with money, and that we do want to shop. But I believe that we can control it. Our generation is grounded and that we have a little more knowledge than the average bear. I don't believe we are out of control with spending and irresponsible.

Hello I Am...

An EXTROVERT. My time can be spent socially, whether it is at church, school, or at home. I connect best with my friends and family. I believe that there really isn't a difference between Extrovert and Introvert. I do believe that life may reward a little ease when you are an extrovert. Possibly not always feeling out of place and less insecure issues. In a way I do believe everyone is an extrovert, because we always are interacting; but if we are all introverts we would probably be more at peace with ourselves and reality. I believe that extroverts are better leaders and publicity and introverts are better friends and personal help. I don't believe it matters which of the two you are, personally.

The Future is Only Years Apart

What do you want? For sure I want to professionalize in the medical field or biology field and I want to master in foreign languages..
What must you do to have it? I know that I have to have my head in the right place and into more work so that I'll be able to master these things...
How would you feel when you had it? I think that for the first time I would feel like I've succeeded in the this world, and although it's not what people expect, it's something that I find joy in...
--To professionalize in the medical field/biology and in foreign languages and I think that for the first time I would feel like I've succeeded in the this world, and although it's not what people expect, it's something that I find joy in...
--I really have to get out of laziness and put my effort into high gear...
--I would feel overwhelming joy..
-- To professionalize in the medical field/biology and in foreign languages and I would feel overwhelming joy..

Perception

Many times our perceptions are very distorted rather than clear, self-defeating rather than constructive.
First things first. Distort: to twist. Following the quote, many of times our perceptions are distorted. We love to twist things into what we want them to be rather than let it be straight up. We are so fearful of the truth that we refrain from the mirror or what we actually might look like inside; we choose to see things in another dimension rather than what is actually there. Other times our perceptions cause us to beat ourselves up because we have been built up around these ideas that we cannot break from them, and we choose to construct the right thing. But before we can find out about ourselves than other, we need to find what are perceptions? Why do we have them? How can we escape from them so that the quote above isn't true?

Thought Of the Day

It will happen because you know what you want, and you move toward it in a strategic, consistent, meaningful, and purposeful manner.
Most people think that in life, to get where you want it JUST requires talent. No. When you are aware of what you want to be in life it takes more skill, intelligence, and a GAME PLAN. The goals in your life need to line up with what you want to be. These goals can only be accomplished if you work at it though and... take action. Waiting around causes more laziness and you will see all your opportunities pass you by. And when you decide to take action, make sure that it is not half-heartily and to your fullest. I believe this is what needs to happen in my life personally.

That thing called "America"

America
Another poem by Walt Whitman that I found dearest. It just portrays America and why we love our country. That besides the fact the we are of popular interest that we have meaning behind our name. We fought for equality within our own regions to prove the point that we are all equal. Equal. Something that seems to come up a lot. He mentions "equal daughters, and sons" and aren't we all daughters and sons? Not only about the equality in our nature but how we are mentally as a whole and physically. America was made out of the Freedom we demanded, the love for each other and the law that binds us together.
Centre of equal daughters, equal sons,
All, all alike endear’d, grown, ungrown, young or old,
Strong, ample, fair, enduring, capable, rich,
Perennial with the Earth, with Freedom, Law and Love,
A grand, sane, towering, seated Mother,
Chair’d in the adamant of Time.

Walt as in Whitman

During the 1800's born was a man named Walt Whitman, who was a journalist. He liked to create poetry which was said to be influenced by music. Walt's type of poetry was like no other but a unique spin which was called “freelance journalism”. When it came to writing his poetry I believe you would categorize him as a Realist because he chooses to take life situations and creatively twist them; not only that but he takes his own life and puts them in his poetry.
Favorite Poem: Song of the Open Road
Henceforth I ask not good-fortune, I myself am good-fortune, Henceforth I whimper no more, postpone no more, need nothing, Done with indoor complaints, libraries, querulous criticisms, Strong and content I travel the open road.

The Life

Sophomore seems like it's going to be a fun year, but I'm ready for it to kick it into high gear. Today I was elected on the homecoming court with my bestfriend Sai-Vaughn. It's really an awesome moment in my life, one I didn't realize. Anyone who knows me knows that I play sports. Those are going well, I'm really ready for basketball season though. And as the days progress, it seems my year keeps getting shorter and that my friends are changing each and everyday to the young adults I know that we all are going to be. Now we are to the age where we will be driving and I'm really excited. Each day I look forward to an eventful school day and it hasn't failed me yet.
